Terms & Conditions

CONTRACT

Please read the terms & conditions carefully. Any booking enquiries and requests will be considered to be an acceptance of these conditions and must be complied with.

The contract for a short-term (up to 28 days) holiday rental will be between Saltburn Holiday Lets and the person making the booking, plus all members of the holiday party.

This contract will apply when Saltburn Holiday Lets issues an email to confirm your stay.

BOOKING

Bookings can only be made directly with us through our website www.saltburnholidaylets.co.uk

The party leader must be at least 18 years of age at the time of booking & the names, contact details and ages of all members of the party must be shared with us on request.

Once Saltburn Holiday Lets have sent an email to confirm your booking you have entered a contract and agree to our terms and conditions.

PAYMENTS & REFUNDS

A deposit of 25% of the total holiday cost is due and must be paid at the time of booking. The full remaining balance will be due for payment 42 days before your arrival date. Saltburn Holiday Lets will inform you of the payment date by email.

If a booking is made within 42 days of the arrival date, full payment will be due at the time of booking.

We accept all major credit & debit cards.

We reserve the right to cancel a holiday where payment has not been received by the requested date, in which case the deposit is forefit.

If you wish to cancel a booking, you must email us contact@saltburnholidaylets.co.uk at your earliest convenience. 

If we are notified 60 days before your arrival date, your deposit will be refunded in full. Should you cancel any later than this, your deposit is forfeited. 

Cancellations made within a week of the arrival date will result in you being liable for 100% of the booking value.

If you are required to leave any earlier than the period you have booked, no refund will be given.

TERMS OF RENTAL

The rental period of our properties commences at 3:00pm on the day of arrival and terminates at 11:00am on the day of departure.

The number of people occupying the premises shall not exceed the number stated when booking. 

Our properties can only be used for the purpose as a holiday or as a short term rental. Our properties cannot be used for any commercial purpose or for any activities which may cause nuisance or any damage.

You agree to supervise children and animals at all times. All dog waste must be collected and disposed of.

On departure, you are required to leave the property in a clean and tidy condition.

CARE OF PROPERTY

During your stay, you and your party are responsible for keeping the property and it’s contents in the same condition as found on your arrival.

You will be liable for any damage caused to property or contents at Saltburn Holiday Lets during your stay.

When making your booking, you authorise us to take up to £500 to cover any necessary repair or replacement costs from the credit or debit card you book with. 

We will not charge for small, accidental damage (broken plates or cups etc).

Additional cleaning costs may also be charged, should this be deemed necessary.

All properties at Saltburn Holiday Lets are strictly non-smoking and non-vaping. Breach of this rule may result in you being required to vacate the property and forfeit the remainder of your holiday.

PROPERTY KEYS

You will be provided with one property key upon arrival. A second key can be provided if required. 

All keys must be returned on your departure date.

If you lose any keys, you are liable to cover the costs of their replacement.

PETS

Up to two, well behaved dogs are permitted in each property. They must be mentioned at the time of booking. All waste must be collected and disposed of, as mentioned in the Terms of Rental.

BABY EQUIPMENT

A travel cot and high chair can be provided if required. You must provide your own cot bedding.

COMPLAINTS

If you have any issues during your stay, we politely ask that you make us aware as soon as possible so that we can rectify any problems. You can email us and we will make sure to deal with any complaints in a quick and efficient manner. 

Any complaints made after your departure cannot be compensated for if the customer has not given us the chance to resolve the issue during the stay.

Saltburn Holiday Lets do not accept liability for any damage to or loss of personal property.

Any lost property will be held for 21 days from your departure date and can be collected or returned via Royal Mail, with you being responsible for covering the postage and packaging costs.

HEALTH & SAFETY

For your own health & safety during your stay you must read all information provided to you at Saltburn Holiday Lets. We have ensured our properties are safe for the purpose of our guest’s needs, however you have a duty of care to take care of your own safety while staying with us.

Each property is supplied with a First Aid Kit, fire blanket & fire extinguisher. Fire safety notices and evacuation procedures are all covered in the properties welcome pack.

We ask that you use all facilities safely and responsibly.
